Sloe Vodka

Freeze 1 kg of sloes for 48 hours.

Divide them into 3 sterilised 1 litre Kilner jars. Top with a 750 ml bottle of decent vodka and a crushed almond each.

Leave for  at least 3 months, mixing irregularly, then strain through multiple layers of muslin (or new J-Cloths).

Make a sugar syrup and add to desired consistency.
