Spicy Paneer Masala Balti from ‘The Curry Guy’

INGREDIENTS AND METHODS

Deep fry 500 g Paneer cheese cut into 1 cm sized cubes and set aside.

Remove all but 2 Tbsp of the oil and fry 2 tablespoons each of garlic and ginger paste. Next add 1 Tbsp of tomato paste, 4 sliced green chillies and the following spice mix: 1½ tablespoon coriander powder, 1 teaspoon turmeric, 1 teaspoon cumin and 1 teaspoon garam masala.

Finally, add 600 ml BIR curry sauce (already heated) and finish with 1 small finely chopped bunch of fresh coriander, 50 g butter and salt and pepper to taste.
